sometimes, it is hard to trust people. especially when we grow older and older. trusting people is no longer a simple thing to us. it is no longer easy like when we were all small and innocent and ignorant. i am thinking why is it so and i've got myself a conclusion, it is because we all are afraid to get hurt. it is because if we trust a person too much and she/he turn out to be somebody who isn't that trustworthy,that's gonna break our hearts. or when we trust in a person too much but it turn out to be she/he doesn't trust us as much, that is gonna hurt too.
if i were to choose, i still choose to believe in my friends, to trust in them. even though i might get hurt, even though i might not get the kind of responce i wish to get from them. even though they might not treasure me as much as i treasure them. but it's okay. i just don't wanna give up hoping that our friendship will last as long as it can last, and if it is possible, forever.
